Bid & Proposals Consultant - Contract (Hiring Immediately)

We partner with organisations on everything from individual specialist hires and large-scale recruitment programmes through to Statement of Work and outcome-led technology solutions.

As our Solutions capability continues to grow and the breadth of opportunities across the Group increases, we are looking for an experienced Bid & Proposals Consultant to provide additional interim support across the business.

This is a short-term assignment designed to give us immediate bid and proposal capability while we review the longer-term structure of the function. We need someone who can come in quickly, take ownership and help turn live client opportunities into high-quality, commercially compelling proposals.

This is not purely a traditional bid management role. The work will range from structured RFPs and tenders through to fast-moving client proposals that originate directly from conversations with our sales and delivery teams.

You could be developing a recruitment proposition one day, shaping an outcome-led technology or SOW proposal the next, while managing a formal RFP response alongside both.

The Opportunity

You will take ownership of allocated bids and proposals from initial brief through to submission, bringing together input from our commercial, Solutions, Delivery and subject-matter experts.

The work will primarily cover:

• Recruitment proposals across Permanent, Contract, Executive and managed recruitment services
• Technology Solutions and Statement of Work proposals
• Formal RFP, RFI and tender responses
• Client presentations and pitch materials
• Commercial, delivery, governance and mobilisation content
• Improving reusable bid content and templates as opportunities arise

Some projects will follow a defined procurement process, while others will require you to work at pace with senior stakeholders to turn a client requirement into a strong proposition within a short timeframe.

Requirements

We are looking for someone who has significant experience developing and managing bids and proposals within environments such as:

• Recruitment or workforce solutions
• Technology services
• Professional services or consulting
• Managed services or managed solutions
• Statement of Work engagements

You will need to be a strong commercial writer who can take complex information and turn it into clear, persuasive client-facing content.

You should also be comfortable:

• Managing several proposals at the same time
• Owning the process rather than waiting for information to come to you
• Working directly with senior commercial and delivery stakeholders
• Challenging incomplete input and identifying what is missing
• Moving between fast-turnaround proposals and more structured bid processes
• Working independently in a fast-paced, sales-led environment

Experience spanning both recruitment and technology/SOW solutions would be particularly valuable.
