Quantity Surveyor - Competitive Salary + Benefits | Office-based (SW London or South Coast)
A leading UK provider of smart energy & heat network solutions is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join its growing delivery team.

The Role
Reporting to the Operations Director , you’ll ensure the financial and contractual success of major energy infrastructure projects — managing costs, procurement, valuations, and reporting from tender to completion. You’ll work closely with project managers, engineers, and senior stakeholders to align commercial outcomes with operational delivery.
What You’ll Do ⚙
• Manage budgets, forecasts & valuations from start to finish.
• Oversee subcontract procurement, negotiation & payments.
• Produce accurate cost reports & highlight risks/opportunities.
• Review contracts (JCT/NEC) & support claims/dispute resolution.
• Collaborate with clients & teams to ensure commercial success.
What You’ll Bring
• Essential to have experience with Heat Network Projects
• Degree (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying / Commercial Management .
• Experience in M&E, construction, or energy infrastructure (Heat Networks ideal).
• Strong knowledge of JCT / NEC contracts .
• Excellent commercial, analytical & communication skills.
• Proficient in Excel & cost management tools .
