Digital Product Designer
Job Description
WHO WE ARE We create new ventures for big businesses, from identifying the white space opportunity all the way through to launching in market. We do it for truly game-changing businesses, including MINI, Google, British Airways, Airbnb and Amex. The impact we are having is changing the way people live, bank, work, and travel. We are not your typical consultancy and we are much more than your traditional design studio. Bringing together the sharpest creative and strategic minds, we work in tight, truly collaborative and high-performing start-up teams to accelerate concepts from ideas to market-ready ventures. We are a team of 70+ Venture builders that are backed by the superpower that is Accenture, which gives us a treasure chest of technology and opens doors to big-ticket clients. Building a venture takes a village and we need all types of skills. We are looking for 'genius misfits' who thrive on excellence and collaboration. We want people to help us grow and evolve - finding the best briefs, contributing to the culture, mentoring and developing the team. YOUR ROLE Every start-up team brings together a range of experiences and skillsets from multiple backgrounds. As a Designer, you are here to bring together strategic design thinking and excellent execution to every project, from early-stage idea generation to detailed digital design. Within this role, you will:- Work in partnership with the team to develop new ideas that deliver against key strategic objectives
- Map existing customer journeys to identify key pain points and areas of opportunity
- Plan, conduct and synthesise customer and category design research
- Lead client conversations within your design specialism, bringing them into the creative process and providing articulate recommendations
- Use design to create clarity and enhance the story, presentation or proposition - bringing creativity into every part of the process, from creative writing to pitch videos
- Mock-up wireframes and user flows to create interactive prototypes to bring the concept to life for customers and clients
- Design top-end and functional UI, including components ready for development and launch
- Mentor and coach interns through their day-to-day project work and overall growth journey
- Strong experience design and digital product design skills, with practical experience designing websites, apps or digital products
- A generalist mindset to fluidly working across the spectrum of design, doing what it takes to help the work land with impact
- A proactive, entrepreneurial attitude and growth mindset to think around problems, navigate ambiguity and challenge clients to think differently
- World-class execution with an eye for detail and the passion to constantly strive to improve and take the work to the next level
- 2+ years of professional experience in the design industry
- 5 bullet points on why you would be a great addition to the team
- Your CV and portfolio of work
