This great opportunity has just become available to join a niche company in Bristol which operates at the forefront of its space. You will join as a Senior Production Engineer and undertake a very varied role, overseeing the design and build of production and assembly. The company itself have been established for 30+ years and do really meaningful work, within the medical sector. The company has since gone from strength to strength and host offices in all four corners of the globe! The Role:

• Directly managing one person.
• Oversee the design and build of assembly fixtures and production tooling.
• Plan and oversee shop-floor layout and process changes.
• Support upgrades and commissioning of new and existing equipment to increase capacity.
• Work with Maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and adherence to PPM schedules.
• Work with Production, Quality, and other departments to define effective work practices and critical processes.
• Coordinate with external suppliers for equipment and service requirements.
• Using solidworks to design jigs and fixtures.

The Person:

• Experience within Plastic/Automotive or FMCG environment, within assembly.
• Working knowledge of 6 sigma.
• ISO9001 experience.
• Experienced with design of jigs and fixtures using Solidworks.
• Knowledge and experience with manufacturing equipment used for an injection moulding process.
