Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality physics lessons according to the school's curriculum guidelines
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and academic success
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their ongoing development
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources
• Support students in their academic and personal growth, providing guidance and mentorship as required
• Communicate regularly with parents and carers to keep them informed of their child's progress and any concerns
• Contribute to the wider school community, participating in extracurricular activities and events as required

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Physics or a related field
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Proven experience teaching Physics at the secondary level
• In-depth knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment strategies
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with the latest educational practices and theories
