Rate: £22-24 PAYE via trust DE
Working Hours: Full-time, 7.5 hours
Working Days: Days/Late shifts Monday – Sunday
Shifts: Once trained you will be required to work a shift pattern:
- Day shifts – 9:00-17:30
- Late shifts – 11:30-20:00
- Weekend day shifts – 9:00-17:30
- Weekend late shifts – 11:30-20:00
We are seeking an exceptionally skilled and motivated Biomedical Scientist specialising in Biochemistry to join our esteemed client in Isleworth. This role requires working in a fast-paced and dynamic laboratory environment, where you will be responsible for validating results and working with diagnostic instruments. Your advanced expertise will be pivotal in ensuring the precision and reliability of test results, which are critical for accurate patient diagnosis and treatment.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for conducting a broad spectrum of biochemistry tests, maintaining, calibrating, and troubleshooting laboratory equipment, and ensuring strict adherence to all relevant health and safety regulations. You will analyse and interpret complex test results with a high degree of accuracy, maintain meticulous records and documentation, and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver superior patient care.
Qualifications and Experience:
- HCPC registration
- Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science or a related field
- Extensive experience in chemistry, validating results, and working with diagnostic instruments
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Unwavering attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
Desirable Experience (but not mandatory):
- Working with Alinity CI instrumentation
- Working with Advances instruments osmometer
- Working with Sunquest LIMS
- Working with Q-Pulse
