Hall School Wimbledon, located in Wimbledon, SW20 8HF, is seeking an exceptional Head of Drama and Head of Key Stage 3. This exciting role offers an ambitious teacher the opportunity to lead Drama across the secondary phase while overseeing pastoral care and progress for students in Years 7-9.

Responsibilities

• Champion excellence in Drama inspiring outstanding teaching, learning and student achievement.
• Shape and deliver an ambitious, inclusive, and engaging Drama curriculum that nurtures creativity and talent.
• Plan and lead whole-school productions, performances, and enrichment opportunities that bring our school community together.
• Lead pastoral care , behavior, attendance, and personal development for students in Years 7-9, helping every student thrive.
• Support and develop KS3 Form Tutors, delivering inspiring weekly assemblies.
• Guide students through key stages, including transition support and GCSE options advice.
• Coach and develop colleagues , sharing best practice and contributing to whole-school improvement.

• A genuine passion for Drama and inspiring young people with performance, creativity, and self-expression.
• An outstanding classroom practitioner with high expectations and commitment to helping every student achieve their potential.
• Vision and confidence to lead, motivate, and develop colleagues, fostering collaboration and excellence.
• Understanding of supporting student wellbeing, behavior, and academic success, helping them thrive both inside and outside the classroom.
• Ability to build strong, positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues through clear communication and support.
• Fully committed to inclusion, safeguarding, and ensuring exceptional outcomes for every student.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

Working Conditions

This permanent role offers 40 hours per week during term time.
