Senior Buyer - IT & Technology

This is a great opportunity reporting into a very strong Procurement leadership team, working alongside Procurement Managers and Senior Procurement Managers. You’ll be a key partner to stakeholders across Technology and wider business functions, helping to build strategies, manage suppliers and highlight risks.

Location: London HQ (1 day a week)

Salary: Up to £47K + 15% Bonus + 26 days AL + wide range of benefits across EV leasing, solar discounts, health, wellbeing, lifestyle, home and more

Key Responsibilities

• Partnering with senior stakeholders to support sourcing activity.
• Contributing to category strategies across Software, Hardware, Professional Services, Data Services and Networks/Telco.
• Negotiating supplier contracts and managing supplier relationships.
• Gathering and analysing spend data to inform strategy.
• Supporting savings initiatives and opportunity analysis.
• Working with Legal and Finance to ensure budgets and contracts are in place.
• Educating stakeholders on procurement processes and policy.
• Maintaining procurement systems and supporting implementation of new tools.

What You’ll Bring

• MCIPS Level 4 (or working towards it) with around 3+ years’ experience in a similar role (preferred).
• Strong stakeholder and supplier relationship management skills.
• Organised, adaptable and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Delivery-focused, pragmatic, and collaborative in approach.
• Understanding of category management practices, ideally with exposure to energy or technology sectors.
