We work with our clients to understand their objectives, address their challenges, provide a deep understanding of market conditions and issues, and create and implement strategies that help them drive strategic goals and objectives and enhance their value proposition through structured engagement throughout Aon.
Your role will include the management of the UK Carrier Engagement Team (30 colleagues) through:
- Effectively and independently conducting relevant business discussions at the most senior level (CEO/CFO) internally and externally
- Being recognised as a company leader, committed to continuous improvement and colleague development
- Leading a team of professionals
- Acting as a mentor to the team and developing people to maximum potential

What the day will look like
The UK Aon Inpoint Leaderwill participate in various client facing activities including prospecting and business development, project management, engagement, governance, and ongoing client management with responsibilities including:
Driving business and practice development:
- Working with the regional sales leaders and other client leaders, develop proposals and identify business development opportunities
- Source and develop new business opportunities through new and existing clients
- Support the firm’s and P&C segment’s operational and business development needs on a variety of internal initiatives
- Pioneer new thinking, tools, and techniques to enable Aon Inpoint to deliver higher value carrier initiatives at lower cost
Leading client management and execution:
- Assume a global dedicated account management role in the delivery of Aon Inpoint services for one or more client accounts
- Engage deeply with client C suite and leadership and develop trusted advisor relationship
- Spearhead overall relationship between carrier clients and Aon
- Own and drive client discovery, strategic engagement, and execution in accordance with the Aon Inpoint contract and operating principles
- Conduct discovery sessions with clients to develop a deep understanding of the carrier’s corporate strategy and key strategic challenges
- Understand and articulate, wider Aon capabilities and support deployment where required
- Prepare and conduct client and industry expert interviews
- Oversee data analysis and modeling to drive business excellence
- Facilitate the execution of initiatives with key client and Aon participants
Leading client projects:
- Lead a joint carrier/Aon Inpoint team, conceiving, shaping, and prioritizing strategically valuable initiatives
- Project manage valuable initiatives for assigned carriers delivering planned benefits in line with client expectations
- Influence client stake holders to sponsor initiatives effectively (governance, allocating resources, visible support)
- Develop storyboards and analytical frameworks, synthesize findings, and identify key insights from data, analytics, and market knowledge and experience
- Communicate findings to the client, as well as to internal partners, by developing high quality, compelling client-ready materials (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
