Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant, KDB

In this role, you will be responsible for coding, testing, and delivering high quality deliverables, and should be willing to learn new technologies.

Responsibilities

· Work on a combination of long-term strategic development and shorter-term business focused development on our Fixed Income trading platform

· Gain expertise in several components of the platform

· Interface with a spectrum of technology groups, front office trading desks and strategists to gather requirements and to synthesize technology solutions to meet those business objectives

· Software design and development in compliance with software development life cycle standards

· Project planning execution and delivery into production environment

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications

• BE/B Tech/MCA

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

· Working experience with large time series databases and knowledge of KDB.

· Nice to have had exposure across different financial product types

· Experience working with other languages such as Java, C++ , perl, python would be nice but these are not must have skills at this stage.

· Good to have - in-depth knowledge of C and C++ programming languages with the focus on a performant code design

· A track record of delivering complex technical solutions to production use

· Knowledge of modern SDLC toolset and workflows

· Experience in a software engineering / development role using kdb+/q
