Job Title: 1:1 Teaching Assistant

Location: Hackney
Start Date: September 2025
End Date: July 2026
Daily Rate: £82.14 - £100

About the Role - 1:1 Teaching Assistant

• Provide tailored 1:1 support for a Year 4/5 pupil with additional needs

• Adapt classroom activities to suit the child's individual learning requirements

• Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to monitor progress and implement strategies

• Contribute to a positive, supportive classroom environment

• Full-time position until the end of the academic year

Candidate Requirements - 1:1 Teaching Assistant

• Previous experience supporting children with SEN, ideally in a 1:1 capacity

• Confident managing additional needs and behavioural challenges

• Patient, dependable, and genuinely passionate about education

• Strong communicator with excellent teamwork skills

• Valid DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
