Senior Project Manager - e-commerce

As a Senior Project Manager, you'll lead cross-functional teams, drive end-to-end project execution, and champion delivery best practices to deliver cutting-edge digital solutions. Your strategic mindset will ensure projects stay on time, within budget, and aligned with business goals—while fostering innovation and collaboration across disciplines.
What You’ll Do
Project Execution: Lead digital initiatives from concept to launch, managing scope, timelines, and resources.
Agile Leadership: Champion Agile principles, facilitate Scrum ceremonies, and drive continuous improvement.
Stakeholder Management: Act as a strategic bridge between clients, development teams, and leadership, ensuring alignment and transparency.
Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify and mitigate risks using structured frameworks like risk matrices.
Quality Assurance: Maintain technical and visual consistency across design, prototype, and build.
Resource Management & Budget Oversight: Optimise project resources management and financials, ensuring value-driven delivery within scope.
Client Advocacy: Serve as the trusted advisor for clients, addressing concerns with clarity and proactive technical and creative offerings.
Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with designers, frontend and backend developers, architects, and QA specialists to exceed client expectations.
New Business: Contribute to new business activities including proposal writing and pitches.
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing complex digital projects (e.g. eCommerce, UX, app development) in an agency or enterprise setting.
Deep knowledge of project methodologies - Agile (Scrum, Kanban), Waterfall, Hybrid, and tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence, tempo, MS Project, etc.).
Technical expertise in enterprise eCommerce solutions - e.g. Adobe Commerce/Magento, and Shopify, would be advantageous.
Strong communication & stakeholder management skills, balancing business needs with technical execution.
Experience in risk management, contingency planning, and exception handling.
A collaborative spirit with a hands-on problem-solving approach.
Adaptable and comfortable working in a lean, and evolving environment, with the flexibility to respond to shifting business priorities and needs.
