Job overview
An opportunity has arisen for a part time receptionist within the Neurosciences Care Group at Denmark Hill. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual with good communication and interpersonal skills to join our team as receptionist on David Marsden Ward.
There will be a high level of contact with patients, relatives and colleagues from all professions and you will be expected to provide clerical and administrative support to the nursing team, cross covering other wards as needed.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for someone who enjoys a challenge and who is able to work as part of a team as well as able to use their initiative. You will need to be flexible, assertive, diplomatic and reliable. Excellent customer service skills are essential as is the ability to communicate effectively.
You will need to be able to work in a calm, logical and methodical way and be able to multi-task whilst dealing with frequent interruptions.
The successful candidate will be expected to work within their designated areas but provide service cover for colleagues within other areas of the division as needed.
