The VP Design Mission:
The role of VP Design is to lead creative direction for the brand on a seasonal basis, aligning to brand pillars, brand DNA, introducing innovation, and seasonal trend to the product creation process. Delivering business and brand equity growth across the relevant global markets. This role is a key member of the Endura brand Leadership team, responsible for the creative direction, product range design, working collaboratively to define and deliver our business and brand strategies.
Founded in Scotland, Endura makes braw cycling gear designed for ride after ride. Clothing, shoes, protection-we’ve got you covered. It is no bother to us what type of cycling you do. Trails, street, and tarmac. It’s all grand. At the heart of everything we do is engineering. We’re known for creating quality, performance-focused kit that lasts. Gear you’ll have for years. How you'll drive success:
Codify the brand DNA within our products, across relevant consumer segments, to create a distinct, recognisable, and progressive range of products that elevates the brand in the technical and lifestyle markets.
Accountable for the range storytelling and design direction of all the brand products globally, setting the overall creative brand DNA.
Contribute to growth patterning with innovation and merchandising teams.
Drive the commercial and creating consumer centric NPD and NPI products.
Ability to have an aperture that widens and focuses-land highly commercial opportunities and also able to focus on innovation to unlock future success.
Ability to lead, inspire and develop talent within a multi-disciplinary team of creative designers, and create a team culture which supports them in meeting theory full potential.

What you'll need to thrive:
10 years consumer product design experience.
Deep knowledge in Product Design, Visual/Brand Design and graphic design.
Experience leading a design team through team building, mentoring and managing multidisciplinary design teams.
Fostering a strong design culture across the organisation.
Leading with empathy and encouraging professional development.
Aligning design strategy with business goals.
Strong design thinking and problem-solving approach.
Excellent storytelling to communicate design vision and value.
Design process optimisation (research, ideation, testing and delivery).
Resource planning and project prioritization.
Leveraging user research and data to inform design decisions.
Budgeting and resourcing the design function.
Driving innovation and managing design-led transformation.

The Interview Process
We want our interview process to feel clear, straightforward, and supportive. If your experience and expectations look like a strong match for the role, here’s what you can expect next:
Talent Team Intro Call - A 30-minute video call with our Talent Team to get to know each other, talk through the role and your experience, and answer any questions you have.
Experience Interview - A more in-depth interview (usually online) with the hiring manager to explore your skills, experience and approach, and how these align with the role, our principles, and our ways of working.
In-Person Interview - An in-person meeting at our office to continue the conversation from your experience interview. This stage may also include discussion of any task or preparation shared in advance.
Final Interview - A final in-person interview at our office, focused on deeper discussion and practical application, giving you the chance to meet more of the team and see Pentland Brands in action.
