MEP Project Lead – Tier One Main Contractor

£120,000 - £130,000

A leading Tier One Main Contractor is currently seeking an experienced MEP Project Lead to oversee the mechanical, electrical, and public health (MEP) elements of a high-profile, large-scale commercial development located in Central London. The appointed candidate will play a key role in the successful delivery of this prestigious scheme, valued in excess of £150 million.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the coordination and management of all MEP packages from pre-construction through to handover
• Oversee design development in collaboration with consultants, subcontractors, and the design management team
• Manage MEP programmes, ensuring integration with the overall project schedule
• Ensure all installations meet the required quality, compliance, and health & safety standards
• Lead client and stakeholder meetings relating to MEP delivery
• Work closely with the commercial team on procurement and package management
• Provide leadership and mentorship to the wider MEP team

Candidate Requirements:

• Proven experience in a similar MEP Lead role on large-scale commercial or mixed-use developments (ideally £100m+)
• Strong technical knowledge across all MEP disciplines
• Background with a main contractor, ideally Tier One, delivering projects in a live city-centre environment
• Excellent coordination, communication, and leadership skills
• Degree or equivalent in Building Services, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
• SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid (desirable)
