Position: Senior Key Account Manager
Location: London, Hybrid
About the Position
This is a critical and high-profile role within the UK&I Organisation. As Senior Key Account Manager, you will drive growth by managing a Top 4 UK Grocery Retailer (Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Asda or Morrisons) and fostering strategic relationships. Your focus will include delivering turnover and P&L targets, providing team leadership by mentoring National Key Account Managers, driving internal alignment between Flora Food Group and our retail partners, and crafting innovative strategies to grow the business.
Key responsibilities include:
Strategic Account Management:
- Oversee P&L performance, crafting tailored plans to maximise sales and growth opportunities.
- Lead Joint Business Plan (JBP) negotiations and promotional planning that align with Flora Food Group’s objectives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with Category and Supply Chain teams to ensure optimal service levels and market insight.
- Collaborate with Marketing to successfully launch New Products (NPD).
Team Leadership/Mentoring:
- Mentor and coach National Key Account Managers, preparing them for future opportunities within Flora Food Group.
Holistic Engagement:
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders for long-term success.
- Drive alignment between Flora Food Group’s internal teams and our retail partners to deliver shared goals and objectives.
What Does It Take to Be Successful?
We are looking for a top performer with an outstanding sales background in FMCG retail. You should have:
- Strategic Expertise: A proven ability to manage and develop relationships with major grocery retailers, driving collaborative growth and delivering mutual objectives.
- Commercial Acumen: Strong negotiation skills and a track record of achieving ambitious sales and P&L targets while effectively managing priorities.
- Team Development: Experience mentoring and supporting team members to enhance performance and prepare them for future opportunities.
- Innovation & Adaptability: A proactive mindset to identify growth opportunities, address challenges, and excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
