Are you an experienced and dedicated SENDCo ready to take the next step in your leadership journey? A thriving and inclusive primary school in Walthamstow is looking for a talented SENDCo to join their team from Summer Term or September 2025 , offering an exciting opportunity to make a lasting difference in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a current SENDCo or an aspiring leader with relevant qualifications (e.g. NASENCo) who is passionate about inclusion and committed to improving outcomes for all pupils with special educational needs.

• Oversee the provision for pupils with SEND, including those with EHCPs, across the school.

• Lead on the development of inclusive teaching strategies and interventions.

• Work closely with class teachers, support staff, parents, and external agencies.

• Monitor and evaluate SEND progress and support the implementation of tailored plans.

• Contribute to the wider leadership of the school and be part of the Senior Leadership Team.

• A qualified SENDCo (or someone working toward the NASENCo qualification).

• A passionate advocate for inclusive education with strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

• A strategic thinker who can work effectively with a range of stakeholders.

• A team player who values collaboration and a whole-school approach to SEND.

• A supportive leadership team that values innovation and creativity.

• Pupils who are eager to learn and thrive in a caring, inclusive community.
