As part of the Investment Bank (IB) Cross Product Ops (CPO) organisation, you will have responsibility for the day to day running of the FX operations functions globally reporting directly into the Co-Head of IB CPO. You will be primary face off to the business leads and partner with key stakeholders to ensure that the on-going running of the business happens in a controlled and effective manner. You will be working alongside the business to deliver strategic improvements to facilitate revenue growth and control and process improvements. You will represent Deutsche Bank at industry forums and partner with FX peers to drive systemic improvements at an industry level.

Your key responsibilities
Active participation in Association for Financial Markets in Europe (AFME) and other industry working groups to drive industry transformation to focus on:
Reduction of settlement risk and payment processing risk through PVP, Blockchain and other emerging technologies
Industry best practice to measure and reduce payment errors
Preparation for T+1 impact as well atomic T0 settlement
Day to day oversight of the middle office function globally with direct local accountability of UK staff.
Partnering with local regional management to ensure the consistency of performance and controls across all Middle Office functions globally
IB representative in FX council and Industry bodies.
Single point of contact for business to support issues resolution as well strategy delivery
Risk and metric oversight – escalation point to business for Middle Office issues globally
Your skills and experience
Significant FX Middle office or operational experience
Transformation capability of delivery experience
Industry knowledge and experience of AFME and Bank of England forum
Experience of audit, risk and regulatory deliverable
Experience of working with global teams
Experience of working in a matrix management environment
