This is an exciting and rare opportunity for a confident classroom practitioner who is ready to step into a strategic leadership position , with the opportunity to work as a SENCO & Assistant Headteacher in the near future. The school is seeking someone who can lead the Inclusion department with vision, integrity, and passion-while still delivering outstandning operational strategies as a memmbe of the SLT

About the Role:

• Strategic leadership of Inclusion and SLT , including mentoring colleagues, overseeing curriculum delivery, and tracking progress.
• Deliver high-quality, engaging teaching in SLT as needed.
• Play a lead role in preparing children for end-of-key-stage assessments , ensuring progress and achievement across the phase.
• Being part of the SLT and support whole-school initiatives, assessment and CPD planning.
• Opportunity to take on whole-school responsibilities and contribute to the development of teaching and learning.

Who We're Looking For:

• A qualified SENCO with substantial Inclusion experience, ideally has been part of the SLT before.
• A proven excellent classroom practitioner , with a track record of strong pupil outcomes.
• Confident and inspiring, with the ability to lead and support colleagues with clarity and empathy.
• Someone who thrives on challenge and has a commitment to high expectations and continuous improvement.
• Able to lead by example, model best practice, and drive forward the school's vision for excellence in teaching and learning.
• A team player with a sense of humour and a genuine love of working with children.
• An understanding of, and respect for, the school's ethos is essential - practising faith not required.
