Join Our Team as a Deputy Security Manager
We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Deputy Security Manager to take charge of the day-to-day operational management of our security services, ensuring delivery in line with both customer and contractual expectations. You will lead and inspire the on-site security team, driving operational excellence while maintaining a consistent, high-quality service. With a strong focus on efficiency, incident response, and customer satisfaction, this role is key to upholding the highest standards of security and service delivery
About the Role:
As a Deputy Security Manager you will be responsible for:
- Proactively lead and manage the security team, ensuring all duties are carried out in line with company policies and procedures, while fostering professionalism and supporting team development.
- Ensure full compliance with legal, contractual, and company obligations at all times, including adherence to the Data Protection Act, Health & Safety legislation, the company handbook, and site-specific Assignment Instructions / SOPs.
- Serve as the key point of contact for daily security operations, liaising with client managers to maintain effective communication and escalation of issues where appropriate.
- Work collaboratively with client representatives and service partners to ensure all site security requirements are delivered to the highest standard.
- Oversee deployment and scheduling of the security team through effective forward planning, roster management, and coordination via systems such as Timegate.
- Monitor and maintain correct staffing levels in line with contractual agreements.
- Deliver regular team briefings to ensure all security personnel are informed of relevant updates, procedures, and changes.
- Supervise and support the Control Room operation, ensuring effective performance, communication, and full functionality of all security systems and technology.
