Channel and Editorial Manager
About us:
Linklaters is a global law firm, providing legal services in 20 countries and through 30 offices.
Linklaters is a people business. Being best in class in the eyes of our clients means that our people must be exceptional.
We look not only for brilliant minds, but for people who will thrive in our environment: people who love working collaboratively and demonstrate the innovative, efficient, agile, entrepreneurial, and responsible mind-set we aim to bring to every interaction.
Ours is an environment of outperformance. We achieve this not with targets and incentives, but by fostering a positive, supportive, fair, and open atmosphere.
We respect and value difference but insist on inclusivity. We celebrate all aspects of diversity and challenge any form of bias. This is vital to our ability to work as one team, with a common goal.
About the role:
We are seeking a Channel and Editorial Manager to join our dynamic communications team. This is a pivotal role responsible for managing the day-to-day delivery of our channel communications plan across digital platforms, serving both internal and external audiences.
You will oversee content production, editorial processes, and content governance, ensuring all communications are relevant, timely, and aligned with Linklaters' brand and objectives. By leading content scheduling, optimisation, and continuous improvement, you will play a crucial part in driving the firm's communications strategy.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Oversee the creation, editing, scheduling, and publication of digital content across various channels including the firm's intranet, newsletters, website, and digital displays.
Manage editorial calendars, production schedules, and approval workflows for efficient and high-quality content delivery.
Coordinate multimedia content production, working with both internal and external contributors (e.g. writers, designers, video producers).
Ensure all digital content meets our quality, brand, accessibility, and regulatory standards.
Monitor and analyse content performance using analytics tools, preparing regular reports and recommending improvements.
Implement best editorial and content governance practices, supporting ongoing compliance and innovation.
Advise on digital storytelling, content development, and platform use to maximise engagement.
Champion operational efficiency and identify opportunities for workflow or process innovation.
We are ideally looking for:
Significant experience in content or editorial management, digital publishing, or communications operations, ideally within professional services or a complex organisation.
Proficiency with content management systems (CMS), multimedia production, and editorial processes.
Strong data literacy and experience working with analytics and reporting tools to inform content strategy.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and contributors while maintaining high editorial standards.
Background or training in digital accessibility, compliance, and quality assurance.
Excellent written, verbal, and editorial skills.
Highly organised, detail-oriented, and skilled in prioritising competing demands.
Collaborative, communicative, and able to manage stakeholders effectively.
Solution-oriented, adaptable, and proactive in improving operations.
This role is based at the Linklaters London office with a hybrid working model available.
Our benefits:
Joining Team Linklaters will see you qualify for a range of benefits designed to reward the vital contribution you'll be making to our success. These include:
