DIGITAL ANALYTICS SPECIALIST
SALARY UP TO £55,000
HYBRID – LONDON – 1-2 DAYS A WEEK IN OFFICE
This position is for a Digital Analytics Specialist at a London-based digital agency known for its creative, data-driven approach across Hospitality, Travel, Food & Drink, and Entertainment sectors. The role combines hands-on technical analytics work with client-facing responsibilities, leading the agency’s analytics function and ensuring high-quality data insights for performance, creative, and strategy teams.
THE ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead analytics projects across a portfolio of digital clients.
- Set up and manage Google Tag Manager (GTM) containers, tagging plans, and tracking implementation.
- Oversee analytics accounts, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across GA4, Looker Studio, and BigQuery integrations.
- Develop and maintain client dashboards and reporting frameworks.
- Analyse performance data to deliver actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
- Present data and insights confidently to internal teams and clients.
- Line manage and mentor an offshore analytics specialist.
- Collaborate closely with performance, creative, and strategy teams to inform campaign and business decisions.
YOUR SKILS:
- Strong experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4), GTM, and Looker Studio.
- Proven ability to design and implement tracking and tagging frameworks.
- Skilled in data analysis, interpretation, and storytelling for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience integrating and using BigQuery or similar data platforms.
- Solid understanding of digital marketing performance metrics (SEO, SEM, paid media, CRO, CRM).
- Comfortable working autonomously and taking ownership of analytics strategy.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience managing or mentoring team members is a plus.
