HR Business Partner
We are seeking an HR Business Partner to join a high-performing, people-focused HR team within our Professional Services client on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role offers the opportunity to partner closely with the business to drive meaningful people initiatives and lead a small HR Operations team to deliver an exceptional employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with client groups to understand their priorities and deliver on people strategy to drive a positive and inclusive culture.
- Partner with managers on organisational design, annual HR processes, talent management, performance, and employee relations.
- Utilise HR reporting, dashboards, and data insights to inform business decisions.
- Work closely with Centres of Excellence to implement initiatives across DE&I, talent, recruitment, L&D, and reward.
- Lead or contribute to business-wide people projects and champion best practice.
- Provide Employee Relations support and assist Senior HR Business Partners as required.
- Act as the primary HR contact for graduates, overseeing induction, development, and rotations.
- Lead and manage a small team of junior HR Administrators
- Oversee HR Operations activities, including end-to-end employee lifecycle processes from onboarding to offboarding.
- Support and manage monthly payroll processing, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant delivery.
To be successful in this role you will need a combination of strategic and operational HR experience, to work in a collaborative team environment.
Key Requirements
- Proven HR Business Partnering experience within a Financial or Professional Services environment.
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes and UK payroll legislation.
- Excellent employment law understanding and experience managing employee relations cases.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and interpersonal skills to build relationships at all levels.
- Experience managing or coaching junior members of staff.
- Workday experience is beneficial.
