We are looking for an experienced and professional deveg and mech arborist(s) and to work across all work types and client bases.
Our work is incredibly varied and as such we focus on developing multi-disciplined staff who may climb or operate plant a few days a week and undertake vegetation clearance and land management works on others.
Whilst we appreciate that the salary bracket advertised is wide we recognise that applicants will have varying levels of experience and qualifications, therefore final offers will be commensurate with this.
In the role you will be expected to deliver both arboriculture, vegetation management and land management projects to a high standard, utilising your existing skill set. As you develop and progress in your role you will be given the opportunity to up skill further and take on more responsibilities to and further your career with us.
Typical working patterns are Monday to Friday with an expectation that you will work up to 9 hrs on site each day inclusive of breaks etc. On occasion, you may be asked to work extra hours (overtime), weekends, evenings or nights to accommodate specific job requirements.
Above all else, it is essential that the applicant can demonstrate the necessary behaviours/attitudes and experience that are required from employees working within safety-critical and high-risk environments.
A full valid manual driving licence (UK) and access to personal transport is also mandatory due to the nature of the work that we undertake and the location of the yard from which we operate.
Interviewees must be able to provide evidence of their licenses, qualifications and right to work at the interview stage, otherwise, we are unable to go to offer. We can offer evening and weekend interviews to make ourselves available around your existing commitments.
A paid trial day and or task-based assessment may be required before going to offer.
Pre-employment Screening; Successful candidates will be required to attend a full medical and health surveillance screening before carrying out any operational duties, this includes a drugs and alcohol test on the first day of employment.
Please note that you must have the right to work in the UK and be able to pass a DBS (Background Check) given the sensitive nature of the environments we work in; Schools, the Ministry of Defence etc.

Desirable traits & experience :
Industry & agricultural experience, preferably within the commercial, utility and rail sectors. Reliable, safety conscious, accountable, physically fit and able to work in all weathers/conditions.
Desirable qualifications & vocational tickets:
CSCS
CS30,31,32,38,39,40,41,47 IPAF, PA1, PA2, PA6,
Woodchipper, Brushcutter, Hedgecutter, Robocutter
NPORS or CPCS Tractor/Excavator/Telehandler
EFAW+F, SSSTS, IOSH, Manual Handling
Full & Clean Manual Licence
