A Part-time Nanny-Housekeeper who speaks Sinhala or Tamil is needed by this family in London to provide proper care for their charming toddler and maintain the cleanliness of their home. They seek an experienced, caring and easygoing candidate who has a basic understanding of child development. The role includes all typical childcare and housekeeping duties. A key responsibility includes cooking and preparing meals for the family, with a strong preference for candidates knowledgeable in Sri Lankan cuisine. Someone who could speak the Sinhala, Tamil or Hindi languages is a must.

A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.

Working hours: Monday and Wednesday for 4 hours a day, Thursday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, approximately 16 hours per week

Duties include:

• responsible for the safety, well-being, care and development of the child
• implementing daily routines
• changing nappies
• preparing bottles of milk
• providing healthy meals and snacks for the child
• organising and participating in activities with the child
• washing and bathing their child
• school runs
• ironing and laundry
• caring for important items
• mopping floors
• cleaning windows, cupboards, surface tops, kitchens
• bedrooms and bathrooms
• wardrobe management and organisation
