Hybrid working 2/3 days on-site this will include site visits.
About the Building Control Surveyor role:
- Conduct site inspections, examine plans, and manage a varied caseload of Building Regulations submissions
- Provide guidance to applicants, architects, builders, and stakeholders on design, compliance, and project fees.
- Promote Building Control services to clients and partners, contributing to increased market share and service income.
- Work across a range of complex and varied construction projects, ensuring compliance with Building Regulations, and maintaining the highest professional standards.
- To operate as a Class 2 Registered Building Inspector, up to and including Category E
- Completed a Building Engineering, Building Surveying or other (relevant) construction related degree.
- Be a Full member of CABE, RICS, CIOB, IStructE or ICE
- Extensive experience of Building Control within a Local Authority.
