Finance Administrator
The Finance Administrator will be essential in my client's daily running, shadowing and learning from other members of the Finance team. Allocating payments, producing accurate stock sheets, and assessing invoices quickly and efficiently, regularly using Excel and Sage 50 & 200. Working in a leading Retail Wholesaler in Central London this will give broad exposure to a variety of finance processes and be a great stepping stone into the Finance industry.

My client is a Retail Wholesaler who sells to butchers, restaurants, hotels, and direct to consumers, and has been operating out of one of London's oldest Wholesale Meat Markets for the best part of 40 years. Known for their high-quality produce, and great customer service, they are looking for a Finance Administrator to join their lean Finance team, who ideally has experience working with Excel and Sage 50 & 200 and can work quickly, collaboratively during trading hours from 2am - 10am, onsite 5 days/week in Central London. For their hard work, the candidate will join a friendly, dynamic, and supportive environment that provides plenty of training and regular bonuses and salary reviews.
Description
- Be onsite in Central London from 2am - 10am 5 days/week
- Maintain accurate financial records using Sage 50 and Sage 200 software.
- Use Excel for logging card payments and other finance processes.
- Prepare and process invoices, ensuring timely payments and receipts.
- Assist in monthly and annual financial reporting processes.
- Monitor and manage accounts payable and receivable activities.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations in both the Finance and Sales .
- Provide general administrative support to the accounting and finance team.
Profile
Given the working hours, this role will suit someone comfortable working throughout the night and who can be onsite 5 days/week.
A successful Finance Administrator should have:
- Proficiency in using Sage 50 and Sage 200 software for financial tasks.
- Strong working knowledge of Excel, including formulas and data analysis.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
- Knowledge of VAT and compliance-related financial tasks.
- A professional, friendly attitude and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Ideally previous experience in a finance or accounting-related role.
