The Role
As a Legal Assistant, you will:
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to Partners, fee earners, and PAs.
- Manage filing systems, both electronic and physical, including opening and closing files.
- Assist in the billing and credit control process, ensuring accurate time recording.
- Handle documentation for client account transactions in compliance with Solicitors Accounts Rules.
- Conduct legal research and manage data-rooms and electronic storage.
- Support the administration of file archiving and retrieval services.
- Assist with ad hoc administrative duties such as scanning, photocopying, and printing.
The Candidate
The ideal Legal Assistant will:
- Possess exceptional client service skills and a proactive attitude.
- Be enthusiastic, flexible, and able to work autonomously.
- Have knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and the ability to handle competing demands.
- Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Be an effective team player with the ability to use initiative.
- Be willing to work outside normal hours if required.
