The Role

As a Legal Assistant, you will:

• Provide comprehensive administrative support to Partners, fee earners, and PAs.
• Manage filing systems, both electronic and physical, including opening and closing files.
• Assist in the billing and credit control process, ensuring accurate time recording.
• Handle documentation for client account transactions in compliance with Solicitors Accounts Rules.
• Conduct legal research and manage data-rooms and electronic storage.
• Support the administration of file archiving and retrieval services.
• Assist with ad hoc administrative duties such as scanning, photocopying, and printing.

The Candidate

The ideal Legal Assistant will:

• Possess exceptional client service skills and a proactive attitude.
• Be enthusiastic, flexible, and able to work autonomously.
• Have knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and the ability to handle competing demands.
• Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Be an effective team player with the ability to use initiative.
• Be willing to work outside normal hours if required.
