About the Role

As a Consultant within Accenture's High Tech Industry practice, you'll work with leading technology companies to understand their most important business challenges, identify opportunities for growth and support transformation across their organisations.

You'll work across a diverse portfolio spanning Enterprise Technology, Consumer Technology, Semiconductors, Data Centres and Digital Infrastructure, developing a strong understanding of the industry, its clients and the trends shaping the market.

You'll combine industry insight, commercial thinking and strong consulting skills to help our clients navigate areas such as AI, changing business models, productivity, growth, customer strategy and emerging technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop a strong understanding of the High Tech industry, its key players, market dynamics and emerging trends.
• Conduct market, competitor and client analysis to identify trends, challenges and growth opportunities.
• Translate industry developments into relevant insights and implications for our clients.
• Support client engagements across strategy, transformation, growth and operational improvement.
• Work with clients to understand their business challenges and develop clear, practical recommendations.
• Support and facilitate client workshops, meetings and industry discussions.
• Develop high-quality client presentations, points of view and executive materials.
• Build relationships with client stakeholders and develop an understanding of their businesses and priorities.
• Work across Accenture to bring relevant industry, technology, AI, data and functional expertise to our clients.
• Support account teams in identifying and shaping new opportunities based on client needs and industry trends.
• Contribute to proposals, pursuits and business development activity across the High Tech portfolio.
• Build knowledge and perspectives that can be shared across the wider High Tech community.

Qualification

Skills & Experience

• Strong commercial awareness and an interest in how technology companies operate, compete and grow.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to research a new market or business problem and quickly develop a clear point of view.
• Ability to turn complex information into clear insights and recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong presentation skills and confidence working with client stakeholders.
• Ability to work across multiple clients, projects and priorities.
• Collaborative approach and ability to work across multidisciplinary teams.
• Curiosity about AI and emerging technologies and their implications for businesses and industries.
• Consulting, strategy, transformation or relevant industry experience is beneficial.

Preferred Background

We’re open to candidates from a range of backgrounds, including High Tech industry, Management Consulting, Strategy & Transformation, Commercial Strategy, Product Strategy or other relevant technology-focused roles.

Experience within High Tech or consulting is preferred, particularly where candidates have worked with technology organisations or developed a strong understanding of the sector. We’re also interested in candidates from adjacent industries who can demonstrate strong commercial thinking, client-facing experience and the ability to quickly build industry knowledge.
