We are now looking for a Warehouse Operations Manager to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. You will work Monday to Friday between 05:00 and 17:00 and cover night shifts quarterly.

The Role

As a Warehouse Operations Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day running of our Erith site, ensuring that operations remain safe, efficient, and compliant.

Specifically, you will lead and develop the warehouse team, fostering a strong health and safety culture while overseeing recruitment, training, and succession planning to ensure operational excellence.

Alongside this, you’ll support financial performance by managing the site’s P&L, ensuring activities align with budgeted targets, and maintaining cost-effective processes.

Additionally, you will:

- Act as the main point of contact for customer inquiries outside of regular working hours
- Oversee facilities management
- Manage on-site contractors in line with company policies and safe control procedures
- Conduct equipment checks to ensure a safe working environment
- Support investigations and disciplinary hearings when required

About You

To be considered as a Warehouse Operations Manager, you will need:

- Proven experience overseeing day-to-day warehouse operations
- Relevant supervisory/management experience
- Experience managing operational budgets and controlling warehouse-related costs
- Experience in tracking and improving KPIs
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, risk assessments, and safe working practices
- Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Proficiency in IT, including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
