Tax Manager

The role of Tax Manager in our Financial Services team presents an exciting opportunity to lead and drive a broad mix of tax engagements within our thriving London office. You'll work with a diverse client base, spanning asset management, banking, capital markets, and insurance, delivering high-quality work while supporting the team's technical development.

Our Financial Services practice, with over 35 partners and 700 specialists across the UK, offers tailored services to a wide range of clients. We're united by a passion for using our industry experience and deep service line knowledge to provide bespoke client advice.

• Pay: Competitive salary and benefits package
• Hours: Full-time, with flexibility to work from home an average of 2 days a week

The Work

• Lead and support UK FS corporate tax client engagements, incorporating advisory, compliance, and audit work
• Undertake research and support cross-border tax compliance, advisory, and audit engagements
• Deliver high-quality work and profitable outcomes for clients through best practices and use of technology
• Work closely with junior team members, delegating work, providing review, and fostering their learning and development

What You Need

• Qualifications: Qualified at ACA, CA, CTA, or equivalent level
• Experience: Strong interest in financial services and related tax issues, with experience delivering UK corporate tax engagements for clients across FS sectors
• Skills: Good awareness of broader tax, international tax, regulatory, and accounting areas, project management skills, strong interpersonal communication skills

Desirable

• Experience working in a professional services environment
• Knowledge of tax software and digital tax platforms
