Program & Community Manager Developer Relations

In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of technical communities and driving the adoption of cutting-edge services, directly impacting how developers build and innovate on our platform. Your work will directly enable technical experts to amplify their reach and influence, creating a ripple effect across a broad community of innovators.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to combine program management excellence with community engagement expertise. You will lead the planning and execution of strategic programs while fostering thriving developer communities across various regions. You will work closely with internal technical experts and cross-functional teams to maximize impact, build strong relationships, and demonstrate measurable value through data-driven insights. This is a 9 month contract role, hybrid working model in London, paying £300 – £350 daily PAYE.
**What You’ll Do:**
You will drive significant impact by leading key programs and nurturing a vibrant developer ecosystem. Your responsibilities will include:
* **Program Management:**
* Drive the strategy and execution for developer-focused programs, including first-party and third-party community events.
* Manage complex, cross-functional initiatives to scale the impact of technical experts.
* Create and maintain program dashboards, metrics, and reporting mechanisms to track success and demonstrate business value.
* Optimize processes and introduce automation to improve team efficiency and content production workflows.
* Partner with internal stakeholders to align developer programs with broader business objectives.
* Manage program budgets and vendor relationships effectively.
* **Community Management:**
* Own and scale community programs in various regions, including growth strategy and health metrics.
* Build and nurture relationships with community leaders and members through regular engagement.
* Support the planning and execution of community-led events.
* Track community health metrics and adjust strategy based on changing community needs.
* Create feedback loops between the community and internal teams.
* Enable community leaders to grow their memberships and deliver impactful events.
**Must-Have Qualifications:**
* Good experience in program or project management.
* Strong of experience in a customer-facing role.
* Proven track record of managing complex programs and stakeholder relationships.
* Good data analysis skills and experience using metrics to drive improvements.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
* Experience working with technical communities and understanding developer needs.
**Nice-to-Have Qualifications:**
* Experience in community management.
* PMP certification or equivalent project management credentials.
* Experience working with remote, international teams.
* Proficiency in an additional main regional language.
* Experience with digital marketing tools.
* Knowledge of project management tools.
