About the Role
Are you a highly organised, detail-driven operator who delivers under pressure? Do you enjoy partnering across multiple teams to keep financials, governance, and reporting tight on complex programmes? If so, this could be your next move. Boss Consulting is hiring a PMO Specialist / Coordinator to help steer strategic digital and ERP transformations for our clients enable by SAP, MS 365, Salesforce and Oracle. You’ll be the hub of the delivery engine, owning cadence and reporting, sharpening plans and risks, and ensuring decisions, budgets, and benefits stay on track. Responsibilities Governance cadence: schedule forums, prepare agendas/packs, take minutes, track decisions and actions to closure. Plans & milestones: maintain high-level timelines and dependency lists; chase updates from workstream leads. RAID management: maintain risk, issue and dependency logs; ensure owners, dates, and mitigations are current. Reporting: produce weekly dashboards and monthly status packs (scope/schedule/cost/risks), ensuring data accuracy. Financial basics: assist with time capture, purchase orders, forecasts vs. Budget, and accrual inputs. Change control admin: log change requests, gather impact information, update registers after decisions. Resource tracking: help maintain demand/capacity view and joiner–mover–leaver records. Quality & compliance: keep document repositories organised (SharePoint/Confluence), apply templates, prep for audits. Onboarding & comms: support new starter onboarding, distribution lists, and simple stakeholder communications. Tooling support: be a first point of contact for PMO tools (e.g., Excel/PowerPoint, MS Project/Smartsheet, Jira/Confluence, SharePoint).
Qualifications
- PRINCE2 Foundation, Agile Foundation/Scrum, or equivalent. Degree or apprenticeship in Business, Management, Information Systems, or related field.
Required Skills1–3 years in a project support, coordination, operations, or junior PMO role (or strong internship/placement).Confident with Excel (lookups, pivot tables), PowerPoint (crisp executive slides), and collaborative tools i.e. JIRA & SharePoint.Solid organisation and attention to detail; comfortable chasing stakeholders and holding people to agreed dates.Clear written and verbal communication; can summarise complex updates into simple, business-ready messages.Basic understanding of project delivery methods (Agile and/or Waterfall) and common PMO processes.Experience in the technology or consulting sectors.Exceptional organisation and attention to detailExcellent time management; able to prioritise in a fast-moving, agile environmentProven problem-solver; manages risks and issues through to closure

Pay range and compensation package
Starting salary £35-£40k per annum, plus bonus. Optional Pension Scheme. Wellbeing employment benefits (My Staff Shop). Inclusive workplace - we value diversity and unique perspectives. Hybrid working. Starting holiday entitlement of 20 days per annum plus public holidays.
