CONTRACT: Fixed Term (3 months, paternity cover), Full Time

JOB FUNCTION: Support the club, Management Committee and Directors in analysing critical business issues and structuring, sizing and executing new strategic initiatives.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of key transformation and business improvement initiatives across the Club.
  • Gather, analyse and interpret operational, commercial and financial data to identify trends, opportunities and risks.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, presentations and performance tracking tools to support decision-making by senior stakeholders.
  • Conduct research, benchmarking and market analysis to inform strategic recommendations and business cases.
  • Support project and business leads in tracking project milestones, risks, dependencies and outcomes.
  • Assist in documenting current and future business processes, identifying opportunities for process optimisation and operational efficiencies.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders across departments to gather requirements, validate findings and support implementation activities.

  • Trusted source of high-quality analysis and insight for strategic initiatives that support informed decision-making.
  • Support Club projects that deliver measurable business improvements, efficiencies or revenue opportunities.
  • Positive stakeholder feedback regarding collaboration, communication and analytical support.

Person Specification:

Qualifications:

  • University level (Bachelor), minimum 2:1 degree or equivalent experience

Experience:

  • Experience in business analysis, transformation, strategy, consulting, analytics or a related role is advantageous, but not necessary. Graduate applicants are welcome
  • Exposure to analysing business performance data and translating findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Experience in developing and delivering written presentations based on research, data and analysis
  • Comfortable working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to source, assess and interpret business data and identify meaningful insights.
  • Structured thinker with strong attention to detail and an ability to break down complex business challenges.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Collaborative team player who builds effective working relationships across all levels of the organisation.
  • Self-motivated, curious and proactive, with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Commercial awareness and an interest in understanding the key drivers of business performance.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Excel and PowerPoint
