Procurement Manager (d/f/m) – Fixed Term (12 Months)
We’re not your typical procurement team. At Personio, Procurement is a strategic partner – enabling business growth, driving cost efficiencies, and shaping how we manage external spend across the business. If you’re looking for a role that’s all about processing POs or juggling spreadsheets... this isn’t the one.
We're looking for a Procurement Manager (d/f/m) to join our lean but high-performing team on a 12-month fixed-term contract , based in London or Munich . You’ll work directly with our Head of Procurement and a tight-knit team who are hands-on, commercially focused, and big believers in working smart (not manually).
This is an urgent hire , and we’re ideally looking for someone who can start as soon as possible . The focus early on will be procurement in marketing and IT – two areas with major spend and plenty of opportunity to drive impact.
What you’ll do:
Manage end-to-end procurement for key categories – initially marketing, professional services, software, and IT vendors.
Partner cross-functionally with stakeholders to challenge spend, unlock value, and support budget planning and forecasting.
Lead vendor negotiations and take ownership of reviewing and optimising contracts.
Identify opportunities for vendor consolidation and drive cost-saving initiatives.
Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory frameworks, working closely with Finance and Legal.
What you need to succeed:
Strategic procurement experience – ideally in a SaaS, tech or high-growth environment.
Strong commercial acumen, contract experience, and excellent negotiation skills.
End-to-end ownership across the procurement lifecycle.
Comfortable operating in a lean setup, juggling multiple priorities and working independently.
Fluent in English. German is not required.
Why this role?
Full ownership and influence from day one – you won’t be stuck behind a desk pushing paperwork.
Join a team that’s raising the bar for how procurement is done, with mature processes and a strong operational setup.
Work across a broad vendor landscape – including over 600+ IT suppliers.
Even in a 12-month role, you’ll gain exposure and experience that will serve you for the long haul.

Interview Process
Stage 1 – 30 min intro call with Talent Acquisition
