Quant Capital is urgently looking for an Application Support Engineer to join our high profile client.

Our client is a leading software provider to the front office wealth and asset management market with customers across the globe. Their product is completely tech driven and have been a long established brokerage and investment solutions provider.

Working as part of a friendly and knowledgeable Support team, the Application Support Engineer will be working on 1st/2nd level Support issues raised by the Incident Management team. This role offers the ability to move towards 3rd line and eventually to team lead role in a short space of time.

On a day to day basis the Support Engineer will:

• Respond to technical product incidents raised by customers.
• From the case management system, record the issue description collecting log files for troubleshooting.
• Agree a Priority level with the customer based on the incident description and SLA’s.
• Provide a resolution to the incident based on product knowledge by searching the technical knowledge base, or triaging / escalating with senior technical resources.
• Investigate new or existing incidents by replicating the issue in house and discussing with peers.
• Ensure customer incidents receive appropriate response and activity.

The Application Support Engineer must have:

• 6 months application support experience & upwards
• Basic SQL queries
• Ideally Windows Server
• Ideally Scripting (Bash, shell, Powershell, Perl)

This role allows rapid promotion to senior support and implementation roles as well as professional services. As a fintech company I am looking for Junior Analysts who like finance and technology, whose eventualy goal is to move up to team lead in short period of time.

The client has a range of interesting and diverse customers which will allow you to experience a host of financial services roles.

The team is varied in experience with a mature yet casual feel.
