Description Role Purpose The Talent Acquisition Manager supports the mission to attract, assess and hire talented individuals who enable the organisation to achieve its strategic goals. The role delivers a high-quality, inclusive end-to-end recruitment service, with a focus on specialist technical, engineering, and managerial hiring, a supporting organisational change programmes and helping strengthen the employer brand, particularly among underrepresented groups. Role Context Based within a Talent Acquisition Hub, you will work closely with Change Leads, People Function colleagues, hiring managers, and stakeholders across the global organisation. Operating within a complex, matrix environment undergoing significant transformation, the role requires strong stakeholder management, organisation, and communication skills. Success depends on building effective relationships, influencing decision-making, and delivering an outstanding candidate experience. Main Accountabilities

  • Support change programmes by delivering effective and high-quality recruitment and selection processes.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment activity, including role briefing, sourcing, shortlisting, talent pooling, interview coordination, offer management, and recruitment planning.
  • Support the delivery of additional assessment and selection activities associated with change programmes.
  • Use recruitment data and market insights to monitor performance, identify trends, inform decision-making, and achieve agreed hiring metrics.
  • Maintain accurate recruitment data to ensure compliance, quality reporting, and audit readiness.
  • Build strong partnerships with hiring managers and People Function colleagues to deliver a positive customer and candidate experience.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to stakeholders throughout the recruitment process.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing best practice, seeking feedback, and maintaining professional knowledge.
  • Promote inclusive hiring practices that attract diverse talent and support equal opportunities.

Role Specific Knowledge and experience Essential Proven experience managing end-to-end talent acquisition processes and applying a range of selection methods. Senior level experience in technical and software engineering recruitment in a busy in house setting, including process improvements and navigating ambiguity. experience in both permanent and temp / freelance / contracting hiring. experience sourcing candidates through multiple channels, including direct sourcing and digital platforms. Understanding of inclusive attraction and selection practices that support diversity objectives. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build effective relationships. experience using recruitment data and performance metrics to drive decision-making and continuous improvement. Solution-focused approach with the ability to provide professional recruitment advice. Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Desirable Knowledge of regional labour markets and recruitment trends. experience working in a global matrix organisation. experience using SAP SuccessFactors Recruitment or a similar Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Understanding of employment legislation and pre-employment screening requirements. Language Requirements Written and verbal fluency in English. Right to work Unlimited right to work full time in the UK (no visa limitation) Professional Qualifications Recruitment or HR qualification (desirable but not essential).
