Head Coach

It delivers a premium training experience through small group coaching, progressive strength programming, reformer pilates and personalised member support. The BasicsSalary: £36k + discretionary quarterly bonusLocation: South East LondonHours: Full-time (10-15 hours coaching, 15-20 hours leadership)Reporting to: The foundersSubsidised Reformer/Pilates training at least 12 months into serviceThe RoleThe Head Coach will divide their time between delivering high-quality coaching sessions and leading the operational performance of the studio. Key responsibilities include: Delivering outstanding coaching and maintaining a visible presence within the studioLeading, mentoring and developing the coaching team to ensure consistent delivery and high standardsOverseeing programming implementation and ensuring coaching quality across all sessionsManaging coach scheduling, studio standards and day-to-day operational excellenceDriving member engagement, retention and the overall customer experience through proactive communication and relationship buildingIdentifying opportunities to enhance each member's journey through personalised recommendations and progressionMonitoring equipment, studio presentation and health and safety standardsOrganising and supporting with community events, member initiatives and collaborative projects with the wider teamUsing member feedback and performance data to continually improve the coaching experienceThe PersonThe ideal candidate will be an experienced coach with strong leadership potential and a genuine passion for building communities through fitness. They will demonstrate: Proven experience coaching within a boutique fitness or premium training environmentPrevious experience leading, mentoring or developing coaching teamsA passion for delivering exceptional member experiences and building long-term relationshipsExcellent organisational and operational skills with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesStrong communication skills and a collaborative approach to leadershipCommercial awareness and an understanding of how coaching contributes to member retention and business performanceA proactive, accountable and solutions-focused mindsetA commitment to continuous learning, personal development and helping others succeedThis role would suit someone seeking a long-term leadership opportunity within a growing business, with the ambition to develop alongside the company's future expansion.
