About the role
As the Global Head of Magic & Skincare Brand Engagement, you will be responsible for the leading the next major shift for this category towards the ‘most loved’, and #1 position in the world. You will shape the skincare brand vision, strategy, positioning, and plans based on sharp customer, product and market insights. You’ll help propagate the brands belief & purpose - Make every feel and look their most beautiful everyday!
You will lead a talented team of Brand Marketeers and partner with Education, Social and other engines across the business such as Digital, Communications and the Creative Agency. You will lead record breaking, integrated omnichannel Marketing Campaigns. These will include global product launches and evergreen campaigns, as well as specific market initiatives and iconic hero franchises in every category, with a creative spirit and meticulous orchestration. You will innately think digital first and power the shift to online but always integrate across all channels.

As a Global Head of Magic & Skincare Brand Engagement you will
- Lead the Skincare category vision with the Brand Director and CMO, devising strategy, plans and integrated marketing campaigns that are digital first and power the shift to online, but always integrate across channels.
- Lead campaigns from the creative inception of an idea through to prioritisation (go/no go) and development, execution, and measurement / review, tying together each function, to deliver cohesively on time and in budget, with effective Critical Path Analysis and allowing for iteration towards the exceptional.
- Spearhead the brand ‘Always On’ approach, leading the strategy, calendar and implementation of all cross-category always on activity. Oversee cross-category seasonal moments in close collaboration with Global Head of Colour + Global Head of Complexion. Oversee all brand TOA creation and all Skincare VM (permanent and campaign).
- Together with the Product Development team and regional insights, drive product portfolio and positioning with sharp product concepts that capture irresistible Unique Selling Points and compelling Reasons to Believe. You will lead the storytelling vision of the brand founder and spearhead its communication to the wider business. Work in close collaboration with legal and regulations teams to ensure compliance.
- Identify sharp consumer, product, and market insights (including competitor insights where relevant) to fuel ideation, creation and origination across the business for your category, whilst building credibility and influence, establishing yourself as THE go to brand expert for skincare.
- Ensure brilliant briefing to the Creative Agency, Communications, Visual Merchandising, Tech and Store Design teams to spark ideation, creation and origination for ground-breaking campaigns and activations.
- Collaborate with the Global Social, Talent, PR, Ecommerce and Paid Media Leads on the vision and plans across paid / owned / earned, driving market leading results through direct and partner teams within the business.
- Support the Pro Artistry & Education team in their collaboration with the field to build service & training strategies that foster best in knowledge across retail and beauty/artistry. This includes close end-to-end management of the Charlotte’s Skin Spa and all skin services.
- Collaborate with Regions (US,EMEA, APAC) to ensure activities are integrated across channels, touchpoints and paid / owned / earned, with a consistent messaging / projection, whilst solving for local relevance by dialling up relevant elements.
- Regularly communicate, present to and influence the CMO and key stakeholders to seek alignment and support (from Charlotte as our Founder to the General Manager and Local Marketing in regions)
- Lead the creation of marvellous marketing toolkits that excite and mobilise the business behind activities, making it EASY to flawlessly execute.
