Compliance and Training Administrator
Cygnet Hospital Blackheath provides inpatient low secure and PICU services for men with a mental health illness.
We are looking for an organised Compliance and Training Administrator to provide efficient administrative systems in support of the Quality Improvement Framework, Audit Strategy and Training processes across the hospital.
You’ll be working 37.5 hrs per week, Monday to Friday and be based in a hospital setting.

Your day-to-day…
- Provide a high standard of organisational & administrative support to the Clinical Governance framework
- Ensuring the Hospital complies with the CQC fundamental standards, Commissioner Standards, Quality Improvement frameworks and networks.
- Ensure that the Hospital meets the compliance data submission targets weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually.
- Organising the provision of induction and statutory and mandatory training according to the monthly/quarterly calendar. Including booking of rooms and tutors, arranging of training equipment and printed materials
- Ensuring that new starters receive the corporate induction workbooks and that induction and workbooks are completed and signed off by the line manager after 4 weeks
- Logging of all training attendance on the Training monitoring system and monitoring of unit compliance statistics in line with company and NHS England targets
- Provide with Daily, weekly and monthly training compliance reports
- Maintaining and updating the Hospital’s training platform (Achieve)
- Assist in the follow up of medicines management and compliance with standards and best practice
- Reporting and reviewing of incidents and learning lessons from adverse
- Escalating quality concerns to the Admin / Clinical Manager as required

You have…
- Experience of utilising common IT software systems, Excel, Word Processing, Spreadsheets and Databases
- Experience of administrative systems associated with audits and service improvements
- Good sound knowledge of local and corporate governance processes
- Experience of working within a small administrative team
- Ability to work on own initiative and to deadlines
- A strong written & verbal communicator with an eye for detail & excellent interpersonal skills
- Highly proficient in the use of Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, Windows & the internet
Successful candidates will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
