About the Role

The Product Development organization at SharkNinja drives our global product roadmap from concept to shelf, always with the consumer in mind. We are the “product CEOs,” partnering across the company to deliver exceptional experiences and strong business results.

We are seeking a Senior Product Developer to join our team and support the Director/VP of Product Development in delivering profitable, consumer-focused programs for key products. Based at SharkNinja, you will lead new product development from ideation through mass production, define category direction, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring innovative, high-quality products to market. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic, hands-on professional who thrives in a fast-paced, data- and consumer-driven environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

Product Development & Strategy

  • Lead the creation and management of assigned products from concept to mass production, defining product specifications that balance consumer needs, market opportunities, and innovative technologies.

  • Develop user-relevant design targets for product performance and experience, ensuring cross-functional teams deliver on these goals.

  • Partner with the Insights & Intelligence team to incorporate consumer testing feedback throughout the development cycle.

  • Collaborate with testing and quality teams to define and manage product quality and performance procedures.

  • Manage product cost structure, reporting, and cost optimization while working with supply chain and merchandising teams on sourcing strategies.

Team Collaboration & Mentorship

  • Collaborate with and mentor junior product developers or interns, providing guidance on project execution, problem-solving, and professional growth.

  • Serve as a subject-matter expert and go-to resource for cross-functional teams on product and category questions.

  • Support cross-functional initiatives that drive innovation and improve product offerings.

Go-to-Market & Consumer Experience

  • Provide input on go-to-market materials, including product specifications, instructional content, and troubleshooting resources, ensuring a 5-star consumer experience.

  • Act as a consumer advocate in all product and process decisions, ensuring products meet and exceed user expectations.

  • Contribute to larger initiatives that enhance executive visibility and accelerate product success.

What You’ll Bring

  • 7+ years of experience in product development, product marketing, human factors engineering, or a related field, ideally in consumer goods.

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Business, Marketing, Management, Engineering, or a related combination.

  • Experience mentoring or collaborating with junior team members.

  • Strong consumer-first mindset with the ability to translate insights into actionable product strategies.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and present to senior management.

  • Exceptional project management skills, capable of prioritizing multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to build relationships across multi-functional teams and influence outcomes effectively.

  • Flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities, learn from each decision, and focus on driving results forward.
