Job Description
About the role…
In your role you will report to our Night Manager and be an integral part of the front office team as the hotel representative in the absence of senior management and working with the Front Office team to balance guest expectations, colleague needs and profitability.
Your success in this job will be largely dependent on your ability to run a smooth night shift operation as well as your strong organisational and communication abilities plus your keen eye for detail to make the necessary adjustments to ensure accuracy of the Hotel’s reporting.

- Hold responsibility and accountability for the efficient operation of the Hotel.
- Warmly welcoming guests, assisting with luggage and ensuring a efficient arrival and departure of our guests
- Ensuring professionalism and accuracy with information and billing during arrival and departure
- Assisting in maintaining responsibility for the overall auditing and administration function of the Night Audit team.
- Proactive complaint resolutions, focusing on a win/win outcome
- Promptly responding to all enquiries
- Ensuring all details of regular guests and Loyalty members are updated regularly
- Proactively working with our security team to effectively manage the safety and security of our guests and be prepared for fire or emergency situations
Qualifications
About you…
- Proven experience with PMS: Opera cloud
- Exceptional customer service skills, communication and time management skills
- A friendly and warm personality with immaculate grooming and presentation
- Ability to work unsupervised
- A willingness to use initiative and strong problem solving skills
- Possess a proactive and resourceful approach with high level of accuracy and attention to detail
