Job Description
As a District Sales Executive, you help convert market opportunity into sustained, profitable growth for Expeditors by understanding customer challenges and translating them into workable supply‑chain solutions. By connecting customers with the right combination of services, expertise, and geographic reach, you strengthen our presence in key markets and shape how Expeditors is experienced as a long‑term logistics partner.
You play a critical role in driving profitable growth through solution‑based selling , winning new business by understanding customer requirements and designing logistics solutions using the full strength of Expeditors’ global network. You are not selling a single product, but bringing together services, people, and geography to meet real‑world supply‑chain needs.
This is a field‑facing, opportunity‑creating role suited to an experienced logistics salesperson who enjoys opening doors, diagnosing customer requirements, shaping fit‑for‑purpose solutions, and closing high‑quality, long‑term business.
WHAT YOU DO:
- Territory ownership: Owning and developing a defined sales territory, with clear accountability for new customer acquisition
- Opportunity creation & closure: Identifying, qualifying, and closing opportunities across air, ocean, customs, warehousing, and value‑added supply chain services
- Internal network leveraging: Building and leveraging a strong internal network across product, service, and geographic teams to progress opportunities and deliver customer‑led solutions
- Solution design & presentation: Shaping and presenting competitive, multi‑service solutions in collaboration with internal subject‑matter experts
- Customer relationship management: Building strong commercial relationships with senior decision‑makers across multiple industries
- Sales cycle management: Managing opportunities through the full sales cycle, from initial engagement to successful onboarding
- Pipeline ownership: Maintaining a well‑balanced, high‑quality sales pipeline aligned with district growth priorities
- Sales execution: Executing disciplined sales activity, including prospecting, customer meetings, and joint calls with colleagues
- Operational collaboration: Partnering with operations and regional teams to ensure effective handover and long‑term customer success
- CRM & forecasting discipline: Maintaining accurate CRM activity, forecasting, and opportunity hygiene
- External representation: Representing Expeditors professionally with customers, partners, and at local industry activity

Qualifications
- English language proficiency
- Global logistics industry knowledge
- 2- 5 years of sales experience in the required market.
- Strong problem solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills
