Performance Marketing Associate

Role Overview
We are looking for a highly analytical and driven Performance Marketing Associate to join our growing team at Fuse Energy. This role is perfect for someone with a STEM background who loves numbers, finds patterns in data, and is excited to work on performance-focused marketing campaigns that have a measurable impact on growth. You’ll own and scale performance marketing channels like paid search, paid social, and display—working closely with our product, design, and data teams to acquire and retain customers more efficiently every day.
Responsibilities
- Plan, launch, and optimise paid campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, and other digital channels.
- Analyse campaign data daily to understand performance, test hypotheses, and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with data science and engineering teams to improve tracking, attribution, and user segmentation.
- Develop rigorous testing frameworks to evaluate new creative, messaging, landing pages, and channels.
- Present key performance insights and growth opportunities to marketing and leadership teams.
- Continuously benchmark against competitors and market trends to identify emerging tactics and tools.
- Assist in the development of marketing automation tools and internal dashboards to streamline reporting and performance analysis.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience in performance marketing, ideally in a high-growth environment.
- Strong academic background in a STEM discipline (e.g., Engineering, Physics, Math, Computer Science, Economics).
- Highly analytical with the ability to interpret complex datasets and make data-backed decisions.
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets, dashboards, and basic data tools (SQL or Python is a plus).
- A curious mindset with a passion for testing, optimisation, and constant learning.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with design, product, and engineering.
- Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Bonus
- Experience in a startup or direct-to-consumer environment.
- Familiarity with marketing APIs, automation, or building internal tools to improve campaign management.
- Interest in the energy or utilities space.
- Prior experience building custom attribution models or working closely with data science teams.
