Operational Excellence Enablement Lead (Hybrid; m/f/x/d; 80-100%)

About the Role
As the Operational Excellence Enablement Lead, you'll work closely with the Head of Operational Excellence to foster a culture of continuous improvement within L&H Re. You'll be instrumental in equipping our Market Units with the processes, understanding, and capabilities needed to achieve operational excellence, driving meaningful change across the organization. This role has a particular focus on the Market Units in the EMEA Region, Continental Europe and UK, Ireland & MEA.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build strategic relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leaders and Market Unit managers, to ensure buy-in and support for operational excellence initiatives
• Lead collaborative efforts with Market Units to drive operational excellence initiatives, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives
• Facilitate knowledge sharing of best practices and lessons learned across the organization to drive innovation and operational improvements
• Develop and implement training programs and workshops to enhance the Operational Excellence capabilities of the Market Units
• Identify and implement process improvement opportunities across Market Units to optimize efficiency and effectiveness
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and ensure continuous improvement
• Lead change management efforts to ensure smooth implementation of new processes and practices within Market Units
• Ensure compliance of all operational processes with company standards, industry regulations, and compliance requirements
About the Team
This team will be pivotal in the design, actions and building of sustainable and systematic capability of continuous operational improvements for L&H Re. It will be part of the L&H Business Excellence team, with a scope to cover all of BU L&H Re. The team's mandate consists of two key pillars:
1. Provide E2E Operational Excellence Enablement across L&H Re, with a focus on continuous process improvement support for the seven Market Units around the globe
2. Drive E2E Operational Excellence Controllership across L&H Re, with a focus on process adherence, the related operational metrics as well as the systematic oversight of agreed improvement actions
About You

Your ability to analyse complex processes, identify improvement opportunities, and lead change initiatives will be crucial to success in this role.
We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:
• Substantial experience in operational excellence, process improvement, or a related role, with a proven track record of success
• Strong L&H Re process knowledge and understanding of reinsurance operations
• Proficiency in process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or similar approaches
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and address operational challenges
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels

• Experience working in global, cross-functional teams
• Proficiency in data analysis and performance measurement tools
For London based role, the base salary range for this position is between GBP 84,000 and GBP 126,000 (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:
• the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role,
• the applicant's own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience.
In addition to your base salary, Swiss Re offers an attractive performance-based variable compensation component, designed to recognise your achievements. Further you will enjoy a variety of global and location specific benefits.
