Head of Commercial

Position Overview

Feldspar is redefining how human movement is measured. Our intelligent, sensor-enabled surface captures performance data directly from the ground, giving athletes, coaches and performance organisations richer insight into movement and performance. Launching initially in athletics, Feldspar has the potential to transform how elite performance is analysed across sport.

We are now looking for our first Head of Commercial to lead the next stage of commercial growth.

This is a hands-on role focused on turning strong market interest and an existing pipeline of opportunities into signed agreements, long-term partnerships and recurring revenue. Working closely with the Founder, senior advisers and Feldspar's product and performance teams, you will take ownership of commercial opportunities from initial discussion through to proposition, pricing, negotiation and contract.

You will also help establish the commercial foundations required for the business to scale, including pipeline management, forecasting, pricing, partnerships and future go-to-market activity.

What you'll be doing

• Lead and convert high-value commercial opportunities into signed contracts and revenue.
• Build relationships with senior decision-makers across sport, performance and technology.
• Develop compelling propositions, pricing and partnership structures.
• Translate complex technology into clear and credible customer value.
• Introduce disciplined commercial processes around pipeline, forecasting and deal progression.
• Work closely with product and technical teams to ensure customer insight informs future development.
• Help shape Feldspar's longer-term commercial strategy, partnerships and go-to-market approach.

What we're looking for

You will be an experienced commercial leader with a strong track record of closing complex, high-value B2B deals.

Experience within sports technology, performance technology, SaaS, enterprise technology, medical technology or another specialist technology environment would be highly relevant.

You should be comfortable working with sophisticated products and specialist buyers, able to quickly understand technical concepts and translate them into clear commercial value.

Feldspar is an early-stage business, so this role will suit someone who is entrepreneurial, hands-on and comfortable operating without a large existing commercial infrastructure.

A background in sports science or biomechanics is not essential, but a genuine interest in sport and performance is important.
