Teaching Consultancy is recruiting on behalf of a specialist SEN school in Tower Hamlets that is seeking dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistants to support pupils with a range of additional learning needs.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team where you will play a vital role in helping children develop academically, socially and emotionally.

We Are Looking For Candidates Who Have:

Team Teach certification (ESSENTIAL)
*
Previous experience working in a specialist SEN school or SEN provision
*
Confidence supporting pupils with Autism and challenging behaviour
*
Experience delivering 1:1 and small group interventions
*
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
*
A calm, patient and resilient approach
*
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
*
Right to work in the UK
Your Responsibilities
*
Provide tailored support to pupils throughout the school day.
*
Assist with learning activities inside and outside the classroom.
*
Use Team Teach strategies to positively manage behaviour.
*
Encourage communication, independence and confidence.
*
Work closely with teachers, therapists and parents to support individual learning plans.
*
Help create a safe, engaging and inclusive learning environment.
