A well-established primary school in Merton is looking for a proactive School Business Manager to oversee its finance, administration, HR and operational functions.
You'll work closely with the Headteacher and Governors, ensuring the school's resources are managed effectively and its day-to-day operations run efficiently.
The Role
Managing budgets, expenditure and financial reporting
Supporting annual budget setting and forecasting
Overseeing HR administration and payroll
Managing procurement and supplier relationships
Coordinating premises and facilities
Overseeing health & safety and compliance
Managing administrative support staff
Preparing reports for Governors
Supporting audits and financial checks
Maintaining accurate school records and systems
About You
Previous school-based finance, business management or operations experience is essential.
You'll be highly organised, commercially aware and confident working independently. Knowledge of school finance systems and MIS platforms would be advantageous.
