Project Sales Manager

The Company:

My client is specialist in the design and installation of commercial kitchens and catering equipment. They are part of a successful group with national UK coverage. 

My client is looking to replace a key member of their team who is retiring. Although not a direct replacement this is part of their key expansion plans to work closely with the Commercial Director. 

My client is looking to employ a new Project Sales Manager. This person will inherit a strong pipeline and a steady stream of incoming business. In addition to this existing business there will be an expectation to seek out new business with the help of internal sales and group marketing.

You will be supported by a design department, but knowledge of commercial kitchen design would be very beneficial, particularly BIM Revit.

Working with clients across all sectors to include leisure, restaurants, hotels, hospitals, schools, universities etc. Installations range in value from between £25k-£800k.

Candidates will need to have experience of the commercial catering equipment sector, ideally some knowledge of project sales. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Make new approaches or follow up sales leads.
• Take a client briefs.
• Work alongside the design department to produce a presentation drawing.
• Present the job, drawing and quote to the client.
• Close the deal.
• Coordinate any staff, contractors and training or demonstrations needed.

The Candidate:

• The successful candidate must come from within the foodservice / commercial catering equipment sector.

Salary:

• £50,000 - £55,000 (OTE £70,000) + Car / Car Allowance
