Market Manager

Become a pivotal part of a global accommodations platform, partnering with Aquent to take on this exciting Market Manager role. You’ll be the driving force behind supply growth in specific European markets, shaping the landscape for hosts and guests alike. This is your chance to leverage your expertise and passion for the hospitality industry to make a real impact.
As a Market Manager, you will be the regional expert, developing and implementing strategies to expand and optimize available accommodations. You’ll cultivate strong relationships with professional hosts, providing data-driven insights and support to maximize their success. Collaboration will be key, working closely with internal teams to ensure market growth and a seamless guest experience.
What You’ll Do:
- Spearhead the supply strategy for your designated markets, becoming the go-to expert on market trends and dynamics.
- Manage a portfolio of professional host accounts, exceeding sales targets through business reviews and personalized engagement.
- Leverage data analysis to pinpoint opportunities and implement data-driven recommendations to enhance market performance.
- Keep clients informed about important product updates and gather feedback to share with internal stakeholders.
- Provide exceptional host service, including occasional travel to your assigned market for in-person support.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (public policy, legal, communications, customer support) to drive long-term market success.
- Design and implement tailored engagement initiatives specific to your region.
Must-Haves:
- Proven experience in account management, partner support, or sales.
- Fluency in English and either Swedish or Danish.
- Proven ability to manage a leads pipeline and/or a book of business.
- Proficiency in CRM software.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills (virtual and in-person).
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to effectively apply data insights.
- Excellent time management, prioritization, and deadline management skills in a fast-paced setting.
- Willingness to travel regularly to assigned markets.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience in the hospitality or travel industry.
- Experience with Salesforce and/or Mixmax.
